Joliet Drunken Driver Crashes Into 2 Parked Cars: JPD
Around 11:25 p.m. Joliet police responded to Henderson Avenue and Elwood Avenue for a hit-and-run traffic collision.

JOLIET, IL — A 45-year-old Joliet woman who lives in the Forest Park area remains in the Will County Jail following a late night hit-and-run crash over the weekend, according to Joliet police.
Christina Anderson, who comes from the 1300 block of Englewood Avenue apartment units, is being detained on charges of aggravated DUI, aggravated driving while license revoked, DUI and DUI-over 0.08. Anderson's bail is set at $20,000.
Around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Joliet police learned of a hit-and-run crash at Henderson Avenue and Elwood Avenue on the east side involving a Chevrolet Uplander.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:
- Officers spotted Anderson driving her minivan with heavy front-end damage in the 700 block of Abe Street.
- Anderson had struck two unoccupied vehicles parked on the street while she was southbound on Henderson Avenue near Ward Avenue.
- She continued to drive following the crash without stopping to provide aid or information.
- When officers pulled her over, Anderson showed signs of alcohol impairment, and following her field sobriety tests, she was taken into custody. Anderson was also cited for driving too fast for the conditions and leaving the scene of a property damage.
Joliet police had her minivan towed away.
