Joliet Family's Home, Car Spray Painted with Racist Language

Racist graffiti was also found at a nearby park.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet family has been the target of an apparent bigot after their home and property was repeatedly spray painted with racist language.

"I won't repeat what they said. It is pretty bad," the homeowner told ABC7, who did not want to give his name. "That is some bold stuff. The fact that they approached the house not knowing anyone could come out at any moment or a neighbor could come out and catch them in the act.”

The graffiti was found not only on his home, but on his car and at a nearby park. One of the messages reportedly said “whites only.” The man said the graffiti targeted his daughter.
