Swedish clothing retailer H&M will open its Joliet store this Friday at the Louis Joliet Mall.
Mayor Tom Giarrante said a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store is scheduled for noon Friday.
The 23,000-square-foot store will be one of the mall’s larger retailers. According to Giarrante, the average size for non-anchor stores is 3,000 to 4,000 square feet.
