Joliet's Jack In The Box On West Jefferson Street Reveals Grand Opening Date, Hours: Photo Gallery
Monday marked a soft opening at the former Arby's restaurant location in Joliet. This marks the second Jack in the Box to come to Joliet.

JOLIET, IL — Under Joliet Mayor Terry D'Arcy's leadership, the West Jefferson Street business corridor has continued to flourish and one of the latest empty buildings to undergo a dramatic transformation is at 2307 West Jefferson Street. The new Jack in the Box fast-food restaurant at the former Arby's restaurant will mark its grand opening on Thursday morning.
Joliet opened its first Jack in the Box last summer, along Route 59, between Shorewood and Plainfield and that location was serving about 10 million hungry people every day — so it seemed — for the few months of being open. It was absolutely crazy how busy the Route 59 Jack in the Box was once it opened for business, also replacing an empty Arby's fast-food restaurant.
Joliet's second Jack in the Box has a drive-thru lane and it will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for at least the couple of weeks. This Jack in the Box held a soft opening on Monday for family and friends, which is why there was a moderate hub of activity at the new fast-food restaurant.
