After searching Mazany’s vehicle, Joliet police recovered two handguns, a .380 caliber and a .22 caliber, English stated.
As for the Sept. 9 domestic violence at the Mazany residence on Cedar Breaks Court, he is suspected of grabbing and pulling the wrist of a 63-year-old woman, police said.
Afterward, the woman obtained a protection order against Mazany following the Sept. 9 incident.
"I have previously reported three incidents since January 2022," the woman wrote Will County's judges. "I have also requested an order of protection in 2009 after being physically assaulted.
"I have suffered over 35 years of physical, verbal and harassment. This morning, he has escalated to being physical."
The woman states that Mazany "steals my personal belongings such as underwear, jewelry, cologne, and when I discovered his recent theft and confronted him, he became irate and locked me out of the house ..."
The victim stated that "when I tried to come through, he grabbed my arm below my wrist and pushed me through the door where I landed hard on my buttocks hurting me hip and butt as well."
The court order ended with the woman requesting "protection and for Allan to stay away from me at all times."
