Joliet Man Arrested At Rialto's Chris Isaak Christmas Concert Won't Be Convicted Of Criminal Charge
Over the course of his 40-year career, platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds.

JOLIET, IL — Although the Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow filed criminal trespass charges earlier this year against a 36-year-old Joliet man who attended the Dec. 12 Chris Isaak concert inside the world-famous Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet, prosecutors ultimately changed their mind and informed Will County's judges that the case was being dismissed, Joliet Patch has learned.
As a result, Max Gorcowski will not have to stand trial at the Will County Courthouse in connection with the incident that led to his Joliet police arrest in the downtown Joliet's historic Rialto Square Theatre of all places. Court documents show that Gorcowski was represented by private counsel, Lockport attorney Terrence Wallace whose law offices are located at 800 South State Street.
According to the Joliet police arrest report, at 8:16 p.m. Dec. 12, officers working a special assignment for a concert at the Rialto Square Theatre noticed a man — later identified as Gorcowski, causing a disturbance near the stage area by yelling obscenities at another concertgoer.

Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said Gorcowski was seated in the wrong location, which was confirmed by his ticket.
"Despite repeated requests by Rialto security to move to his assigned seat or leave the venue, Gorcowski refused to comply and continued to behave in a disruptive manner," English announced. "Officers issued multiple commands for him to stand up and exit the theater before he ultimately complied. He was then escorted out of the venue and placed into custody."

On the night of the concert, Joliet police arrested Gorcowski on suspicion of criminal trespass to real property and obstructing a peace officer. He was processed at the Joliet Police Department and released on a notice to appear, the arrest report noted.
According to the Rialto's concert press release: over the course of his 40-year career, platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds across the globe with his longtime band Silvertone. His music and film credits include thirteen critically acclaimed studio albums, twelve chart-topping singles, along with several motion pictures, such as "The Silence of the Lambs" and "That Thing You Do!"
