Joliet Man Crashes Car, Runs Away, Threatens to Kill Cop: Police

A Joliet man had a rough night, police said.

A Joliet man got to go to both the hospital and to jail after wrecking his car, running home and then threatening to kill a cop, police said.

Rodney Little, 23, of 926 N. Raynor Ave. was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and aggravated assault in connection with his early Monday morning run-in with a tree, some parked cars and the cops, police said.

Little first hit the tree and the parked cars near the corner of Raynor and Moran, police said, then ditched his automobile and ran the short distance home.

The cops reportedly found Little, who was bleeding from his head, inside his house but while they were talking to him, he “balled up his fist and threatened to kill one of the officers,” police said.

Little was arrested but was first brought to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center before he was dropped off at the Will County jail.
