Joliet Man Dies After Jeep Flips On Joliet Stretch Of I-80
The 46-year-old Joliet man was pronounced dead late Sunday night.

JOLIET, IL — A 46-year-old Joliet man was killed Sunday night when his Jeep rolled several times after striking two vehicles east of Larkin Avenue on Joliet's westbound stretch of Interstate 80. The Will County Coroner's Office identified the fatality victim as Don L. Brown. He was pronounced dead at 10:15 p.m. at Joliet's AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center.
According to the Illinois State Police, Brown was driving a silver-colored 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the left lane of Interstate 80 and around 9:40 p.m. Brown's Jeep struck the rear driver's side of a green Nissan Altima, in the right lane, driven by a 25-year-old Joliet man.
The front end of Brown's Jeep then struck the rear end of a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu traveling in the left lane. The Malibu was driven by a 24-year-old Morris woman, police said.

"The impact of the crash caused (Brown) to rollover and come to rest in the center ditch, on top of the median cable wires," Illinois State Police reported.
Brown was ejected from his vehicle, police said.
