Joliet Man Faces 4 Child Pornography Charges
David Marvin, 54, was arrested last week by the Illinois State Police.

JOLIET, IL — A 54-year-old Joliet man is no longer in custody following his arrest last week by the Illinois State Police on four charges of possessing child pornography. Since then, David Marvin posted 10 percent of his $50,000 bail to regain his freedom while the criminal charges against him are pending in Will County.
According to the criminal complaint, Marvin, who lives in the 400 block of Fir Lane, possessed digital videos on a cellular phone that contained nude images of a girl under the age of 18 and other videos depicting a nude boy under the age of 13 with an adult woman.
In addition to setting bail, Will County Judge Brian Barrett ordered Marvin not to use the Internet and not to have any contact with minors outside of his own household while his case is pending.

The judge also ordered Marvin to remain under house arrest except for going to work, medical clinics or religious services.
Court records indicate that Marvin is employed at Argonne National Laboratory.
