Joliet Man Tries Strangling Woman, Arrest Warrant Issued: Complaint
Will County Judge Art Smigielski issued a bench warrant for Joliet police to arrest Randolph Williams III.

JOLIET, IL — Members of the Joliet Police Department have obtained a warrant to arrest 32-year-old Randolph Williams III in connection with allegations he tried to strangle a woman two weeks ago. The incident happened on Dec. 13, according to the criminal complaint.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Williams, who resides in the 800 block of North Center Street, with aggravated domestic battery and three counts of domestic battery.
According to Joliet police, Williams pushed the woman. He is also accused of grabbing her body, grabbing her around the neck and strangling her, the criminal complaint outlined.

Last week, Will County Judge Art Smigielski issued the warrant for Williams' arrest and the judge set bail at $100,000.
As of Tuesday night, Williams hadn't been captured by police, according to jail logs.

The defendant's place of employment is listed as unknown on the arrest warrant application. Williams stands 6-foot tall and he weighs 160 lbs.
