Joliet Officer Arrested In New Lenox On Domestic Battery Charge
The Joliet Police officer was taken into custody on Friday, Patch was told.

JOLIET, IL - A Joliet Police officer was taken into custody on Friday in connection with allegations that he recently physically assaulted his ex-wife in the village of New Lenox where she apparently resides, Joliet Patch confirmed.
On Friday evening, Lou Alessandrini, deputy chief of New Lenox's Police Department, said that William "Bill" Busse was arrested in connection with a single charge of domestic battery, which was authorized by the Will County State's Attorney's Office of James Glasgow this week.
New Lenox’s deputy chief said it was his understanding that Busse's ex-wife contacted police this week alleging that her ex-husband physically battered her during an argument. New Lenox Police investigated the nature of the allegations and criminal charges were authorized by Will County's prosecutors, Alessandrini said.
