Joliet Pedestrian Dies Near Mills Road: Coroner
The 66-year-old Joliet man was walking along South Chicago Street near Mills Road in the middle of the night when a vehicle struck him.
JOLIET, IL — The Will County Coroner's Office announced that a 66-year-old Joliet resident who was killed early Monday morning has been identified as Ramiro Castillo. The Joliet man was walking along South Chicago Street and Mills Road when a vehicle hit him.
Castillo was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. Joliet police are investigating the pedestrian fatality, the coroner's staff indicated.
