Joliet Plaza Inn Arrest: Wilmington Woman Faces Assault Charges
Joliet officers responded to the Joliet Plaza Inn and Suites, 4200 West Jefferson St., for a disturbance call Tuesday night.

JOLIET, IL — A 36-year-old Wilmington woman was arrested Tuesday night at the Joliet Plaza Inn and Suites on several criminal charges including aggravated assault. Officers arrested Nicole Hudson on charges of aggravated assault, criminal trespass, resisting a peace officer and obstructing justice. The Joliet Plaza Inn is at 4200 West Jefferson Street near the airport.
Joliet police went to the hotel for a disturbance call around 7:50 p.m.
"Upon arrival, officers determined that Hudson was asked to leave the property when asked by staff after unsuccessfully attempting to rent a room without identification," Joliet Police Sgt. Dwayne English stated. "Officers gave Hudson a lawful order to leave the premise to which she refused, and she was placed into custody after a brief struggle."

English said that Hudson tried to punch a Joliet officer in the head at the police station, but her swing missed. Hudson refused to cooperate with booking procedures and was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, he said.
