Joliet Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting
The gunman got away before the police arrived.

JOLIET, IL - The Joliet Police Department is investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday night in the 300 block of Comstock Street. No one was injured by the gunfire. According to the Joliet Police Department, officers responded to Comstock around 7:50 p.m. after getting complaints from nearby residents about shots being fired. When the squad cars rolled up to the neighborhood, the police discovered that someone fired at least three bullets at one of the homes. "The projectiles did not penetrate into the residence, and none of the occupants were harmed," police stated.
