Joliet Police Investigating Man's Shooting Death
Man pronounced dead early Thursday in Joliet.

Updated at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 28:
Joliet police are investigating the death of a 34-year-old Joliet man as a homicide, the Will County Coroner’s office said.
Deputy Chief Al Roechner said Dante Campbell was found lying on a sidewalk on Henderson Avenue at Chase Avenue.

Campbell had been shot several times, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.
Roechner said Campbell was found near a home in the 700 block of Chase Avenue. Investigators have talked to neighbors in the area, but so far have not identified a suspect, Roechner said Friday morning.
