Joliet Police Raided Home On Pine Street, Man Arrested: Cops
He was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet resident Derronta Barefield, 31, was captured after a read on his home last week.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, following an investigation by the Joliet Police Narcotics Unit, officers, assisted by the Neighborhood Oriented Policing Team, K9 Unit, and Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of Pine Street on the morning of April 24.
Barefield was identified as the suspect and was located inside the residence. During a search of the apartment, officers recovered a handgun that had previously been reported stolen, along with ammunition and suspected cocaine, English revealed.

Barefield was taken into custody without incident and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a repeat offender, possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance,
possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
He was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
