Joliet Public Schools District 86 Autism Fundraiser a Success

Over $5,200 was Raised for Marycrest, Sanchez, and Hufford Autism Programs

Over 500 participants supported the Joliet Public Schools District 86 11th Annual Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk at Joliet Junior College in April. The winners included Joe Sues who came in first place with a time of 20:36, A.B. Diaz captured second place, and Washington Junior High eighth-grade students Mateo Zavala and Matias Rosales tied for third place. More than $5,200 was raised to support the student autism programs at Marycrest Early Childhood Center, Sator Sanchez Elementary, and Hufford Junior High schools.
