Congratulations to the 21 Joliet Public Schools District 86 students who received the Superintendent’s Award for the second trimester of the 2025-2026 school year. Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse, along with the school principal, presented the awards to the students. Only one student from each Joliet District 86 school receives the award each trimester.

“I love seeing the smiles on students’ faces when they receive the award,” said Joliet Public Schools District 86 Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse.

Cunningham Elementary; Valeria Valerio Zarate, Dirksen Junior High; Emilia Rodriguez, Eisenhower Academy; Eliana Wiedman, Farragut Elementary; Sebastian Reyes, Forest Park Individual Education (I.E.); Jennifer Rios, Gompers Junior High; Jayden Diaz Zuniga, Hufford Junior High; Juan Garcia Dominguez, Thomas Jefferson Elementary; Jazmin Ceballos, Edna Keith Elementary; Dahlia Escutia, A.O.
