Joliet Rotary Donates Dictionaries to Joliet Students

Over 2,000 District 86 Students Receive Dictionaries

The Rotary Club of Joliet recently donated over 2,000 dictionaries to all Joliet Public Schools District 86 third and fourth grade students. In addition to delivering the dictionaries, volunteer members of the Rotary shared the Rotary Four-Way Test and looked up words in the dictionaries with students at T.E. Culbertson, M.J. Cunningham, Eisenhower, Farragut, Forest Park Individual Education, Thomas Jefferson, Edna Keith, A.O. Marshall, Pershing, Sator Sanchez, Carl Sandburg, Isaac Singleton, Taft, Lynne Thigpen, and Woodland Elementary Schools.

Joliet Public Schools District 86 is the third largest elementary school district in Illinois with nearly 10,000 students.
