Joliet Secretary of State Drivers Services Site To Reopen June 30
The facility was closed over the weekend after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus. The site is being cleaned before it reopens.

JOLIET, IL — The Illinois Secretary of State’s drivers services facility in Joliet will reopen next week after being closed over the weekend when an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.
The office, which is located at 201 Joyce Rd., is scheduled to reopen on June 30 once the facility has been thoroughly cleaned, a Secretary of State spokesman said on Tuesday.
The facility was closed on Saturday as a precaution after the employee tested positive for the coronavirus. But the employee had limited contact with visitors to the office, the spokesman said, adding that the employee will be quarantined for two weeks in order to meet federal guidelines.
