Nevaeh is a first-generation college graduate. She worked hard all four years, no matter the obstacles she faced — family illness, friends walking away from her, and figuring out who she was in Christ.
She also took summer school courses every year so she would not fall behind. She pushed through and never gave up, even when she thought she could not do it.
In high school, she said she was going to go to college and graduate, and she did just that.
She has always shined bright, and her star just got brighter. We have seen her meltdowns, and we have watched her grow from a young 18-year-old lady into an amazing 21-year-old woman who is determined to make a difference in young teens’ lives.
What three words best describe your star student?
