Joliet Teen Spits On Will County Officer: Complaint

JOLIET, IL —An 18-year-old Joliet woman who lives in the 900 block of Cora Street faces two criminal charges in connection with allegations that she beat up another woman and later spit in the face of a Will County Sheriff's deputy.

The incident unfolded early Monday evening, March 30. According to the battery complaint, Aisha Parker injured another woman after attacking her, punching her and slapping her face and body, causing scratches to the right side of the victim's face and neck.

The second charge, aggravated battery, indicates Parker spit on the Will County officer at the time of her arrest by the Will County Sheriff's Department.

Parker spent 24 hours in the Will County Jail before posting 10 percent of her $10,000 bail on Tuesday night.
