Joliet Homicide Victim Identified As Lockport Township Man, 41
The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating Saturday night's deadly shooting because it happened outside city of Joliet limits.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating its first homicide in 2022. Todd N. Taylor, a 41-year-old Lockport Township resident, suffered four gunshot to his upper body, Will County Coroner Laurie Summers announced on Sunday.
Sheriff's officials said that Taylor was found shot in the front seat of a vehicle in the 100 block of Oscar Avenue. Oscar Avenue is on the city's east side near Richards Street.
The crime happened around 9:10 p.m. Saturday. The killer or killers got away before sheriff's deputies got to the scene.
