Joliet West Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent
26 students intend to continue athletic careers.

Twenty-six Joliet West High School athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a ceremony on May 18.

Joliet West Athletic Director Steve Millsaps and coaches were present to introduce and recognize the twenty-six student athletes in the school’s auditorium.
“These students are dedicated to their education and athletics,” said Millsaps. “I am extremely proud of each and every one of them.”

Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Jen Ames, Softball-Eastern Illinois University; Alysia Rodriguez, Softball-Depaul University; Lily Ongkiko, Softball-Wheaton College; Simone Carroll, Softball- North Park University; Trent Wallace, Boys Golf-Illinois State University; Elexis Coleman, Volleyball-University of Southern Indiana; Monique Williams, Basketball-Alverno College; Mike Ruwoldt, Basketball-Kalamazoo College; Kayla Kurowski, Bowling-Robert Morris University; Sarah Heffron, Bowling-St. Ambrose; Sezar Carrillo, Cross Country-Coe College in Cedar Rapids; Allan Roman, Joliet Junior College- Cross Country; Josh Pearson, The College of St. Scholastica- Track and Cross Country; Felicite Woods, Cheerleading-Arizona State University; Trea Pierce, Football-St. Joseph’s, Indiana; Ethan Bohanek, Football-Trinity International University; Rick Dove, Football-DePauw University; Evan French, Football- Carthage College; Houston Thomas, Football-Aurora University; Collin Talkie, Football- UW-Platteville; Mitch Dolak, Football-UW-Platteville; Griffin McGuire-Baseball, Chicago State University; Cody Grosse, Baseball-Chicago State University; Robert Talarico, Baseball-Lewis University; Alex Davis, Baseball-Robert Morris University; and Blake Tomac, Baseball-University of St. Francis.
