Joliet West Swimmer Qualifies for State Finals

Joliet West High School junior Youjia Wang has earned himself a trip to the IHSA State Final Swim Meet next weekend. Wang qualified with a time of 1:00.22 in the 100-yard breaststroke.

While practicing his swimming skills, Wang also finds time to study hard and excel in the classroom. He recently got a perfect score of 36 on his ACT exam.

The State Final Swim Meet takes place February 28 and March 1 at Evanston Township High School in Evanston.  The JTHS Swim Team is coached by Cameron Barnish.
