UPDATE: Kristina Duda Has Been Safely Located, Police Say

JOLIET, IL — Kristina Duda, the 21-year-old Joliet woman who has not been seen by anybody since Saturday, Jan. 14, has been safely located, Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English announced on Thursday morning.
No further details about her discovery were released.
Joliet police had put out a news bulletin, saying Duda was missing after last being seen wearing a blue and white hooded sweatshirt with an image of a wolf and jeans in the 800 block of Krings Lane.

"We do not know where she is," Kristina's mother, Gloria Duda, wrote Joliet Patch's editor on Thursday. " We just know that the JPD has talked to her and told us she was safe. We would very much like to thank everyone for their prayers and sharing the post that The Patch and the Joliet Police Department put on Facebook."
