Joliet Woman Attacks Dad's Lady Friend During Dispute Over Taco Money: Cops

The woman wanted to know where the money was for her tacos, police said.

A Joliet woman punched her father’s lady friend a few times after he failed to fork over money for tacos, police said.

Andrea Snider, 21, of 453 N. Eastern Ave. was charged with aggravated battery in connection with the alleged Sunday evening attack at Bicentennial Park.

Snider and her brother had gone looking for their father “because every Sunday he buys them tacos,” police said.

The siblings tracked down their 52-year-old dad at the park where they found him sitting in his car with a 43-year-old woman, police said.

Snider used her vehicle to block her father’s car from driving away, police said, then walked up to her dad and “asked where the money is for tacos.”

The father’s friend told Snider to leave the man alone, police said. Snider allegedly responded by spraying the woman with Mace and punching her a couple times in the face.

When officers arrived, they saw the woman’s face was cut and swollen, police said. The cops then reportedly got a call from Snider, who by that time had returned home and was claiming to have been subjected to a beating.

Officers headed over to her place, took her into custody and carted her off to the county jail.
