Joliet Woman Found Dead in Plainfield Road Motel Room

Police are searching for the man whose name the room was rented in.

A Joliet woman was found dead in a Plainfield Road motel and the police are searching for the man whose name the death room was rented under.

Kimberly Budde, 48, was found dead in room 6 of the Town House Motel Monday.

A manager at the 832 Plainfield Road motel couldn’t get anyone to answer the door to the room and called the police. Officers forced their way inside and found Budde’s body on the floor. Police also reportedly located drug paraphernalia in the room.

Budde was initially identified through a pill bottle and paperwork bearing her name.

The room was rented in the name of a man who had yet to be located Tuesday afternoon, police said.

An autopsy did not reveal any signs of trauma or cause of death. The results of toxicological tests remain pending.
