Missing Joliet Woman Dead, Family Announces
Theresa Wade was last seen on Herkimer Street in Joliet on Saturday night.

JOLIET, IL - On Monday afternoon, relatives of a Joliet woman who had not been seen since around 9 p.m. Saturday informed friends and concerned residents that the search for Theresa Wade, 57, had come to a sad end.
"Thank you to everyone who shared my previous posts. It is with a heavy heart to say my mom was found and is now in a better place. Thank you to everyone who helped. I will truly miss my mom," Wade's daughter informed everyone on Facebook.
Late Monday afternoon, the Will County Coroner's Office announced that a body found near the train tracks, not far from Wade's home, was positively identified as her.

As of late Sunday night, relatives of a missing Joliet woman remained concerned about her safety. Theresa Wade, 57, was last seen around 9 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Joliet's Herkimer Street. "Please continue to contact us and the Joliet Police with information. Thank you to those who have given us reliable info. But we still haven't found her yet. #PleaseHelpFindMyMom," one of the missing woman's daughters, Calesia House, posted on Facebook.
House informed everyone on social media that her mother "has no car, no purse, no identification and no phone. If you have any information or if you see her, please message me, my sister Sherrita Wade or call the Joliet Police Department. This is the most recent picture we have."
On Saturday night, Theresa Wade wore blue jeans, orange and gray tennis shoes and a multi-colored striped shirt with a big white stripe at the bottom, according to family.
She is described as 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds.
