Joliet writers’ group plans third anthology release party
Local writing group plans book release event

The WriteOn Joliet writers’ group will celebrate the release of its third anthology, “Write Where We Are” from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Book Market bookstore, 2365 Plainfield Road in Crest Hill.
This free event is open to the community. It will include book signings by the authors and homemade light refreshments. Copies of the anthology will be available for sale. The book is also available on Amazon.
“Write Where We Are” collects some of the best examples of the group’s work featuring a broad selection of poetry, essays and short fiction.

“Write Where We Are” WriteOn Joliet Anthology 2019 contributors include: Denise M. Baran-Unland, Mauverneen Blevins, Holly Coop, Diana Estell, Annette Gonzales, Robert Hafey, Dale Hansen, Jessica Harris, Ryan Harris, Tom Hernandez, Todd Hogan, S. Houk, R. Michael Markley, Kenneth Lee McGee, Sue Mydliak, Colleen H. Robbins, Allison Rios, Jennifer Russ, Vanessa J.C. Stephens, Duanne Walton.
Baran-Unland and Kristina Skaggs co-founded WriteOn Joliet in 2012. The group comprises writers of varied skills, interests and experience including professional journalists, fiction novelists, bloggers, screenwriters, musicians and poets.

“We promise a safe, comfortable and supportive atmosphere for writers to share their work, and constructive feedback so that everyone can benefit from our shared knowledge,” Baran-Unland said.
