Joliet's 43 Accused Priests: Anderson & Associates Compiles List
Anderson & Associates released its latest report documenting allegations of sexual abuse against priests across Illinois.

JOLIET, IL — On Wednesday afternoon, attorney Jeff Anderson of the high-profile law firm Anderson & Associates released a comprehensive report into allegations of sexual abuse made against Catholic priests across Illinois, including the Diocese of Joliet. During the tenure of Bishop Joseph L. Imesch, Joliet was rampant with troubled and perverted priests, according to the report.
Imesch was bishop from 1979 to 2006. He died in 2015 at age 84.
"It is believed the Dioceses in Illinois have not publicly made available the full histories and their knowledge of their sexually abusive agents and employees," advises The Anderson Report on Child Sexual Abuse in the Archdiocese and Dioceses in Illinois.
