Family Video On Route 59 Closing
The Family Video advises passing motorists of huge sales as the closing date nears.

JOLIET, IL —Long before Netflix and Redbox, Blockbuster and Family Video dominated the movie rental industry. If you wanted to rent a movie that wasn't playing at the theater, you drove to your local Blockbuster or Family Video.
Now, one of the last Family Video stores in the Joliet region is closing. The Joliet Family Video on Route 59 and Theodore Street is advertising "Huge Sales" on its sign that alerts motorists of its closing.
One of the Family Video employees told Joliet Patch on Monday that the store will close Oct. 26.
