The city of Joliet issued the following public service announcement on Friday morning.
JOLIET, IL - The City of Joliet will be completing a resurfacing project on Theodore Street from Drauden Road to the County Line Road beginning Monday, July 9. The road will remain open during construction but traffic may be reduced to one lane during construction activities. The road will be fully open during non-working hours. It is expected that the work will be completed by August 3.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution and seek alternate routes when traveling in the area.
