Joliet's Top 5 Percent Store Now Offers Fingerprinting
Ezra Tillman owns the Top 5 Percent store on Springfield Avenue. He creates signs, custom T-shirts, decals and now offers fingerprinting.
JOLIET, IL — Over the past seven years, Ezra Tillman and his wife have built up their business, Top 5 Percent, creating T-shirts, professional business signs and custom apparel. These days, the Tillmans are also offering fingerprinting services inside their store between West Jefferson Street and Glenwood Avenue at 121 Springfield Avenue.
Ezra Tillman and his wife Kimberly were both in the U.S. Army, and Kimberly served in the first Gulf War.
As far as the fingerprinting at Top 5 Percent, "it's been a year now and business has been good," Ezra Tillman told Joliet Patch during last week's interview. "We haven't really done any marketing yet, but we are going to launch a campaign for printing and fingerprinting."

Top 5 Percent offers fingerprinting for background checks for people working with explosives, school bus drivers, vehicle dealerships and for real estate appraisals.
"Doctors, nurses, concealed carry," Tillman continued. "And just people looking to get their records expunged. We do other states, so we get a lot of card scans."

Tillman said he's generating a lot of fingerprinting business at Top 5 Percent for immigration services.
"That's a big one," he remarked. "They're trying to become U.S. citizens."
With the fingerprinting services, Tillman said, "we do go by appointments only. Price varies depending on the job title. Early intervention might be lower than a registered nurse."
Tillman said that Top 5 Percent is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. He's closed on the weekends.
Tillman originally opened his Top 5 Percent store on West Jefferson Street and stayed there four years. He just marked his third anniversary at 121 Springfield Avenue.
Two of his employees include his daughter, Kimani Tillman, and Espi Cuellar.
"Customer service is our number one goal," Ezra Tillman said, pointing out that Top 5 Percent continues to draw perfect scores on Google Reviews.
Top 5 Percent now shows 111 reviews on Google, all five stars.
