JTHS faculty honored for achieving tenure
Thirty JTHS faculty members were recognized at the August 20 Board of Education meeting for achieving tenure status
Thirty Joliet Township High School faculty members were recognized at the August 20 Board of Education meeting for achieving tenure status. JTHS non-tenured faculty undergo a rigorous multi-year process where they are observed and evaluated continuously. The process allows time to gain teaching experience and allows for participation in educational activities and committees outside of the classroom.
Joliet Township High School faculty receiving tenure are: John Barabe, Holly Camerano, Alissa Claassen, Elise Cochran, Maribel Diaz, Abel Farias, Allison Farkos, Alexandria Fotopoulos, Milton George, Alyssa Greenwald, Megan Gunier, Patrick Haaker, Susan R. Harris, Lauren Kline, Michelle Knierim, Nicholas Koenig, Jeremy Kreiger, Rebecca Lara, Brian Levicke, Sharralyn Martin, Jennifer McGowan, Patrick O’Neill, Colleen Pawlik, Jessica Roubissoff, Andrea Pacheco, Shana Sanchez, Donald Stinson, Melissa Jorstad, Kathryn Watland, and Anne Zmuda.
"At JTHS our teacher evaluation process is extensive," said Dr. Karla Guseman, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services. "We have high expectations for our teachers, which the teachers recognized tonight have met. JTHS is proud that these teachers have chosen to make JTHS their home."
