Louie Goode Faces 4 New Domestic Charges

Goode is believed to have gone into hiding. A bench warrant was issued Wednesday.

Authorities at the Will County Sheriff's Department are trying to locate 33-year-old Channahon resident Louis D. Goode, the son of long-time Will County Judge Carla Alessio Policandriotes who recently stepped down and left the bench. On Wednesday, Will County Judge David Carlson issued a $50,000 bench warrant for Goode's arrest on four new felony domestic battery charges, court documents state.

The criminal complaint states that Goode "having previously been convicted of domestic battery" in 2014 "knowingly and without legal justification caused bodily harm to Tanya Brandolino, a family or household member, in that he struck Tanya Brandolino in the head."

Goode's latest act of domestic violence occurred on Oct. 12, court documents state.

In recent years, Goode and Brandolino have lived together in the 22400 block of South Joseph Avenue in Channahon.

Starting in October 2014, Goode became the subject of several articles in the Joliet Patch produced by former staff member Joseph Hosey.

Hosey reported that Goode stuffed Brandolino into the trunk of a car during a violence episode and that Goode's mother, Judge Policandriotes subsequently intervened in an effort to help her cocaine-using son stay out of trouble with the Will County criminal justice system.

This past June, Joliet Patch reported that Brandolino had begged the court in May 2016 not to sentence Goode to any prison time for the incident where she was put in the car trunk.

"We share a life together and Louie appreciates my contributions to it. Louie has a better relationship with me, the kids and his family and he continues to grow each day. If Louie were to be incarcerated, all that we have built would be gone," Brandolino reflected, court documents show. "I am excited to see how Louie and I can continue to grow, build our lives and one day get married."
