JWHS Girls Bowling Qualifies for State Competition

The JWHS Girls Bowling team had eight athletes qualify to compete in the IHSA State Competition at the Cherry Bowl.

The Joliet West High School Girls Bowling team had eight athletes qualify to compete in the IHSA State Competition at the Cherry Bowl in Rockford, IL on February 21-22, 2020. They qualified to compete in state after winning at the IHSA Sectional at Highland Park Bowl in Moline, IL on February 15, 2020.

The team is coached by Jeff Bailey and Larry Warwick. The team members are Natalie Moldovan, Haley Tobiasz, Maddie Millsaps, Brooklin Chavez, Malaya Chavez, Suzi Fonck, Erin Rowlett and Barbara Lunsford.

Coach Bailey said, “We are definitely excited to be going back to Rockford for the State finals. The girls worked really hard this season. We feel that we’re one of the top teams in the state of Illinois and are really confident with the position we are in to bring home a State Championship.”
