Kafe De Kasa: Ohio Street Location No Longer Open
The store hours for Joliet's east side Kafe De Kasa at 3 Ohio St. were 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends.
JOLIET, IL — After opening a new location in downtown Joliet last July, Kafe de Kasa had high hopes that its second location in the Joliet area would draw lots of business from the east side of Joliet. On Thursday, the Kafe De Kasa coffeehouse announced on Facebook that its Joliet storefront at 3 Ohio Street is no longer staying open.
"Kafe de Kasa II our Joliet location is now permanently closed," representatives posted on Facebook. "Our Crest Hill location will remain open for business. We apologize for the inconvenience and Thank all of you for your support!"
Kafe de Kasa will continue to keep its main coffeehouse opening. That one is in the red house along Plainfield Road in Crest Hill on the way toward the Louis Joliet Mall area.
