Kitten Harmed By Godley Man, Animal Cruelty Filed: Glasgow
The Will County Sheriff's Office took John Segerberg, 34, into custody. The Godley man faces animal cruelty and aggravated cruelty charges.

GODLEY, IL — John Segerberg, a 34-year-old resident of Godley, has been charged with aggravated cruelty and cruelty to animals following an incident involving a kitten investigated by the Will County Sheriff's Office investigation.
The criminal complaint against Segerberg accuses him of two counts of violently attacking a kitten, causing it brain injury, by hitting the animal against a hard surface last Friday.
Segerberg was booked into the Will County Jail last Friday night, and he was released from custody on Saturday afternoon, April 1, after posting 10 percent of his $15,000 bail.
