Latest Will County Jail Blotter

One detainee faces attempted murder. Another faces non-payment of child support. This man faces something else.

At Tuesday's swearing in ceremony for Will County's newest Associate Judge, Derek Ewanic remarked that he was urged to pursue criminal law, rather than real estate law, many years ago because criminal law never has ups and downs like the real estate market. STEPHON TURNER, 23, 400 block of Joliet's East Jackson Street, arrested by Joliet Police on felony charges of attempted murder, armed robbery-no gun and two counts of aggravated battery.
