Rt. 66 Food N Fuel Sued By 2017 Customer
The new Will County lawsuit was filed by the Chicago law firm of Parente & Norem.

JOLIET, IL - On Feb. 9, 2017, Steve Mudroch visited the Lenny's Route 66 Food N Fuel on South Chicago Street. As a result of that experience, Mudroch contacted a Chicago law firm, Parente & Norem, to file a civil lawsuit against Lenny's Route 66. The new Will County personal injury lawsuit seeks more than $50,000, plus attorneys fees.
In 2017, Mudroch was on the premises of the Joliet business, and he "entered the building through the marked front entrance and was caused to trip/slip and fall due to the condition of the entryway door mat, which was displaced or otherwise was improperly secured or in a condition that allowed it to move as Plaintiff stepped onto it," the lawsuit states.
Mudroch's lawyers argue that Lenny's Route 66 "carelessly and negligently failed to warn patrons, including the plaintiff, that said mat was hazardous."
