Liquor, Loaded Gun Found In Joliet Parole Violator's Car: JPD
Joliet police say they pulled over the Buick Enclave near East Clay Street and North Eastern Avenue for disobeying a stop sign.

JOLIET, IL — A 36-year-old Joliet man is back in Will County's Jail after Joliet police say they pulled over Rashad Jordan's Buick Enclave and found open alcohol plus a loaded gun that had its serial number removed.
As a result of the incident, officers hauled away Jordan in handcuffs. Now locked away from society, Jordan is being charged with:
- Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon by Felon
- Defacing Identification Marks of Firearm
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
- No FOID card
- Illinois Department Of Corrections Parole Warrant
- Driving While License Suspended
- Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by Driver.

Around 11:40 p.m. Friday, Jordan's vehicle was stopped near East Clay Street and North Eastern Avenue for disobeying a stop sign.
When officers looked inside, they saw Jordan had open alcohol containers.

Officers recovered a loaded handgun under his driver’s seat, and his gun's serial number was defaced. Besides making the arrest, Joliet police called for a tow truck to remove Jordan's vehicle.
Jordan's bail was set at $124,000. He comes from the 1500 block of Joliet's Goldenrod Drive.
