Live At The Forge: Ministry, American English And These Acts

Ministry will play at The Forge on Nov. 29. Is downtown Joliet ready for this?

JOLIET, IL - Now that it's way too cold for outdoor concerts, Joliet's The Forge is in high gear. Following up on a successful month of October, The Forge has lined up several big acts to play in downtown Joliet over the next two months to close out 2018. One of the headliners is Ministry. How popular is Ministry? The band has ONLY 430,000 Facebook Likes.

Several hundred tickets have already been sold for Ministry's Thursday, Nov. 29 concert in downtown Joliet at The Forge. However, because The Forge is a big venue, there are still a number of tickets available.

The Forge wants this to be a sellout and who can blame them? It's Ministry!

"Ministry found mainstream success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with three of their studio albums: The Land of Rape and Honey, 1988, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste in 1989 and Psalm 69 in 1992," Wikipedia notes.

At the very bottom of this article are two Ministry songs, via YouTube. You can listen to them at your own discretion. We won't tell anybody if you do. That's a promise.

Meanwhile, here's a rundown of some - not all - of the performers visiting The Forge between now and the year's end. One is a highly popular Beatles tribute band. The American English Beatles Tribute Band has almost 168,000 Facebook Likes, which is not too shaby.

Bear in mind, The Forge typically averages at least four shows per week. The following performers are anticipated to draw the biggest crowds.
