Local Man and Wife Sore Over Botched Vasectomy: Lawsuit
The couple has suffered "loss of consortium" and "conjugal fellowship," the lawsuit said.

A married couple blamed a pair of Joliet doctors for bungling the husband’s vasectomy and leaving them deprived of “consortium” and “conjugal fellowship,” according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Doctors Sandeep Sawhney and Gregory Lewis, along with Advanced Urology Associates, were named as defendants in the suit brought by the Will County husband and wife.
The husband got a vasectomy from Sawhney in November 2012, the lawsuit said, but the doctor failed to “properly perform” it. Sawhney, Lewis and Advanced Urology then neglected to “properly care for, treat, and monitor (his) post-surgery course of care,” the suit said.
