2 More Fights Inside Joliet West: 3 Girls Arrested By Police
Joliet police say Wednesday afternoon's violence happened near the girls' locker room for Joliet West High School as well as the cafeteria.

JOLIET, IL — Three girls who attend Joliet West, ages 18, 17 and 16, were arrested by Joliet police on Wednesday afternoon following two separate fights that took place near the girls' locker rooms and inside the cafeteria, according to Joliet police reports.
One student, 18-year-old Talia Mallory was booked into custody at the Joliet police station on charges of disorderly conduct and released on an I-bond. According to police, Joliet's liaison officer at Joliet West learned that Mallory started a fight around 1:10 p.m. The fight was broken up by Joliet West staff near the girl's locker room.
According to Joliet police reports, Mallory "had become engaged in a fight" with a 17-year-old girl before the altercation was broken up by school staff.

Both Mallory and the 17-year-old girl were placed into custody without any problems. The juvenile was also cited for disorderly conduct and released to a parent, police announced.
About 10 minutes later, Joliet police's liaison officer learned of another fight, this one in the school cafeteria.

In that fight, a 16-year-old girl punched another 16-year-old girl several times during a disagreement, police reports state.
A high school security guard broke up that fight, and the girl who started the altercation was taken into Joliet police custody. She was brought to the River Valley Juvenile Justice Center where she is charged with disorderly conduct as well as aggravated battery.
