Longshots Plays It Safe: It's Closing For 5 Days
Longshots is located in the Jefferson Centre plaza along West Jefferson Street near the Silver Spoon Family Restaurant.
JOLIET, IL — The Longshots Sports Bar & Grill won't be open this weekend because its owners have chosen to play it safe in regard to the new coronavirus. None of the employees at Longshots have the coronavirus, however, on Friday afternoon Longshots announced on Facebook that "We have been informed a few patrons have tested positive for COVID-19. We have decided to close through Wednesday, August 12."
Longshots representatives said that while they are closed their Joliet bar will undergo a deep cleaning of the establishment and all employees will undergo coronavirus testing.
"We hope to see you all back at Longshots on Wednesday," the Joliet bar announced.
