Loud, Angry Woman Spews Profanity At Riverwalk Homes: JPD

JOLIET, IL — A 33-year-old woman from Chicago was taken away in handcuffs by Joliet police officers following Tuesday night's incident at the former Evergreen Terrace, now called the Riverwalk Homes.

Princess Brown was arrested by Joliet police on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:

The Riverwalk Homes disturbance happened around 11:40 p.m. at 358 N. Broadwat St.

Officers encountered a group of people in the parking lot who appeared to be having a loud argument.

Officers made contact with Brown and she acted belligerent toward officers and she yelled obscenities at others.

A short time later, Brown aggressively approached one of the Riverwalk Homes security guards and she threatened to physically harm him.

Brown was taken into custody and Joliet police say she was later released on an I-bond.
