Man Grievously Wounded In Walk-Up Shooting Outside Joliet Bar
The targeted man was sitting in his Cadillac when he was shot three times, police said.

A man was grievously wounded in a Friday night walk-up gun attack outside an East Washington Street bar.
The 52-year-old man was sitting in his Cadillac in the parking lot of Woody’s Bar when he was shot shortly after 8 p.m.
The gunman followed the man as he drove into the parking lot. The shooter then got out of his car, walked up to the Cadillac and fired through the window. The targeted man was hit in the neck, shoulder and chest.

A friend of the wounded man drove him to an area hospital. The man was then taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. He was expected to survive the shooting, police said.
