Man On Second Floor Balcony At Star Inn Motel Throws Object Hitting Joliet Police Car: Spokesman
Surveillance footage confirmed the item was thrown from the second-floor balcony, the Joliet Police Department indicated.

JOLIET, IL — After three weeks of investigation, the Joliet Police Department announced that it has solved a recent crime at the Star Inn hotel at 2219 1/2 W. Jefferson St., resulting in the arrest and Will County Jail detention for 38-year-old Joliet resident Philip Baudo.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, while officers were at the Star Inn at 12:03 p.m. March 10 handling an unrelated call, a man allegedly threw a bottle of hand sanitizer from a second-floor balcony, striking a marked squad car while an officer was inside and causing minor damage.
Surveillance footage confirmed the item was thrown from the second-floor balcony. Officers later identified Baudo as their prime suspect but were unable to locate him at that
time, English noted.
