Man Tries Biting Joliet Police Officer's Arm After Traffic Stop: Cops
At the station, Edwin Medina, 40, then complained of a medical issue and a Joliet Fire Department ambulance was summoned, police advised.

JOLIET, IL — Bail was set by a Will County judge at $100,000 for 40-year-old Hammes Avenue resident Edwin Medina after he tried to bite a Joliet police officer's arm during a struggle that ended up on the ground, according to Joliet police reports.
Now, Medina is being housed inside the Will County Jail facing charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, obstructing justice and driving while license revoked.
Around 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, patrol officers tried to pull over Medina's Cadillac Escalade right near where he lives in the 200 block of Hammes, because of a stop sign violation, authorities said.
